Our Team
In 2015, Meagan and I undertook an ambitious plan to make wine in far northern California on the Mendocino Coast as well as our home in the Hunter Valley.
Back in 2008, I came across a small and truly unique (and breathtaking vineyard) on the Mendocino Coast that produces wines that are equally as unique. The vineyard sits more than 2,500 feet above sea level but only 3 miles from the coast, this combination of elevation and cool coastal proximity creates incredibly vibrant wines. I spent 2 months living there and making these wines, before returning in 2016 to blend and bottle them, I’m truly proud to put my name to these two spectacular wines.
In 2017, we started making wine at home in Australia with a plan to compliment our international wines and make some small parcels from our home in the Hunter Valley. Our wines are made almost exclusively from the Ablington Vineyard in Pokolbin. The vineyard sits more than 100m above sea level and sit in the heart of Pokolbin, the oldest commercial wine region in Australia.
